Anders in Grandad and Nana's yard in Stafford (53kb) Anders loves tearing up popup books - he loves regular books too (45kb) He's learned well from mom (45kb)

This is the driveway to our appartment building - there's a guard shack with a gate at the entrance. (65kb) This is a "nice" comunist era appartment at the end of our street next to the little park that we walk Tori in. (41kb) This is the lovely park that we visit twice a day with Tori. Notice all the trash. They actually have two women clean this park up every day. Clearly they don't do a stellar job. (90kb)
Nice park eh. What it lacks in ethetics, it makes up in character, and by character I mean the characters that visit the park in the evening. I'm getting up the nerve to take my camera and take some pictures of the people in the evening to show you what I mean. (95kb) 20050813 008.jpg (73kb) This is the park in the middle of the circle at the end of our street. It has the nice fountain and again, lots of trash. It's really not as bad as it looks. (59kb)
This is the famous Narimanov a communist era hero of some sort... or maybe just a politician with enough power to build his own statue. (31kb) Another view of the Narimanov park (43kb) Our building is just visible behind the base of the crane. Did I mention that Baku has a TON of construction going on. (74kb)
20050813 018.jpg (82kb) Anders likes to think he can walk Tori. We have yet to let him try. (54kb) This is our 350 Kilo elevator. You can fit two people in here maybe. Luckily, there is another, larger one avalible. (31kb)
Another view of our park. (70kb) This is our front door. That's the small elevator on the left. (30kb) This is the entrance to our building. (30kb)
the famous playground. (56kb) This is the car that a co-worker let us borrow for a few weeks while his family was out of the country. This came complete with a driver. (50kb)
