Anders loves to play in his bus still. It's ugly and takes up a lot of room but he still loves it. (66kb) 0003.jpg (50kb) A carpet
The carpets they were working are were amazing. They had pictures of men on them and they looked like a drawing or soemthing. (61kb) This is the old city, just next to the carpet dealer we bought our carpets from. Apparently, this area was one big bath house. I'm not sure what the carvings are. (61kb) Anders thought they were dogs. (56kb)
That's his dog sign. (56kb) More old city Baku (68kb) Ariving at the mud volcanos after about 10K offroading. (58kb)
Tori was afraid of the spurting mud - until she jumped in a big bubbling mud lake. (88kb) Floor got her shoe stuck in the mud. (69kb) Lots of picture taking all around. (77kb)
Dried mud volcano mud. (100kb) one of the bigger pots of mud. (82kb) Mud Volcano in action (88kb)
0065.jpg (94kb) 0067.jpg (58kb) The ladies where trying to figure out a way to transport all this mud home for facials and things. (60kb)
There's Aaron (51kb) A shot to give you the scale of the area. (57kb) It's really a nice place, though desolate. (69kb)
For posterity (66kb) The entire crew, even a muddy Tori (58kb) On to the Petroglyphs (60kb)
I think they are anchient drawings of the aliens that used to roam the earth, what do you think? (51kb) Where's the boat? Oh. (73kb) This is apparently a Vikin reed boat. I supose I buy that. (75kb)
Cow? horse? 10,000 years old. (95kb) more aliens. (71kb) and alien cows. (72kb)
This is the "grafiti" left by the concering Roman army. Apparently the furthest East anything of the like has ever been found. (75kb) Anyone want to translate? (85kb) Again, quite beautiful. (55kb)
Ah, unpacking all our junk at last. We ended up with empty boxes pilled to the ceiling. (67kb) Anders doens't know what to do with all his Yee Haa. (69kb)
Even some US processed baby food. Mmm Mmm Good. (50kb) 0167.jpg (54kb)
